The Asian Journal of Tourism Research (AJTR) follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and its standards on publication ethics.

  • The paper has not been published in any other journal before.
  • The paper is not under consideration for publication in other journals or publications.
  • The paper is known and approved by all authors.

Copyright Policy

Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to transfer copyright. This transfer will ensure the widest possible dissemination of information. A notification will be sent to the corresponding author confirming receipt of the manuscript.

If excerpts from other copyrighted works are included, the author(s) must obtain written permission from the copyright owners and credit the source(s) in the article.

Publication Charges

There is no submission charge or article processing charge (APC).

Review of Manuscript

AJTR has a double-blind review process. Thus both author and reviewer are unknown to one another. Every submitted paper will go through a review process that involves a minimum of one reviewer to a maximum of three reviewers. The number of reviewers is at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief. The review will take around 6 weeks.
